The power of onions

One upshot of the coronavirus and social detachment is that we no longer have to worry about the distancing effect of onions.  There’s a whole bunch of studies showing that onions are good for our hearts, help to prevent colon and stomach cancer and make our bones stronger, decreasing the risk of fractures.  Onions also have antibacterial properties, inhibit the replication of viruses, a welcome bonus with the coronavirus on the prowl and boost neuroprotective brain chemicals.
