What really causes ageing

My grandfather regularly lamented growing older and used to remind us with a constant refrain that ‘ageing is a terrible thing.’   Without the sage advice of longevity experts, consuming healthy foods, he loved sugar or devoting himself to continual aerobic and anaerobic exercise he reached the ripe old age of 97.  So I’m wondering if the pearls of wisdom that I recently doled out on a podcast https://vitopia.ai/podcast/brain-health-habits-aging/  will help listeners as well as myself match it with my grandfather or the notion that those who live into their nineties do so because they have access to money, education, safety, clean air and water and community.   I guess only time will tell if a commitment to nutritious eating, intermittent fasting, frequent exercise and piano playing and a slew of supplements and hormones, some discussed on the podcast and in the books, https://eternalhealth.org/e_books/the-wellness-guide-to-preventing-the-diseases-of-ageing/ , https://eternalhealth.org/e_books/you-have-the-power/  really does make a difference.
