Technology replacing doctors

Obviously I have a sizeable investment in doctors not becoming redundant but for those who desire instant surveillance of their vital organs ‘Withings Beamo,’ another Time Magazine best invention for 2024 provides sensors located in a TV remote device that tracks body temperature, records lung activity, tunes in to heart function and measures oxygen levels.  Unless you’re medically savvy interpreting all of this data would be fraught and you would need to relay this information to your doctor who would need to be instantly available if some concerning event is taking place.

This technology would probably be useful for those who have an underlying condition or for anyone who becomes ill and wants to get an immediate handle on what is going wrong.   But medical personnel would still need to be engaged to arrive at a plausible diagnosis.  Would this replace the nous of a sound medical assessment?    Machines might provide smart information but we would still need the learning, experience, knowledge and wisdom of the doctor to execute the appropriate intervention.
