Does vaccination  prevent influenza?

Health experts regard influenza as a vaccine preventable disease.  Vaccination is advised not only to prevent infestation but also to curb the development of severe illness with over half a million deaths each year resulting from influenza-related complications.  Current metrics indicate that vaccine effectiveness ranges from 30-60% in preventing sickness and is 50-60 % impactful on the manifestation of drastic outcomes sometimes resulting in hospitalisation, ICU admissions and even tragically death.    In other words as much as vaccination is undoubtedly highly beneficial if half the population that are receiving this intervention are still succumbing to influenza this is not an entirely failsafe strategy.

It is for this reason that I wrote ‘Immune Apocalypse (https://eternalhealth.org/e_books/immune-apocalypse/) which examines other avenues we can embark on to bolster our immune systems in a world where viruses are ubiquitous and are increasingly finding ways to evade the protection provided by vaccination.  When it comes to combatting influenza vitamin C, zinc and the herb echinacea are  some of the natural remedies that can be employed to help prevent and treat this illness.   There are a host of other non-pharmaceutical substances that can be used to fight viruses which together with the multidimensional approach outlined in this book will provide vital assistance to the safeguards delivered by vaccination.
